The Light was the name used by UK electronic producers John Ross and Joe Williams for several 1990s trance singles (including “Dusk,” “Panfried” and “Expand the Room”). Their work was featured on prominent compilations—“Expand the Room” appeared on Sasha & John Digweed’s Northern Exposure: Expeditions—and they later adopted the name Proper Filthy Naughty, releasing the album Fascination in 2003.
