Vanessa Collier is one of the fastest rising young saxophonists and vocalists to come out of the Berklee College of Music. She has wowed audiences with her fresh blend of genres, her singing saxophone style and distinctive voice, her captivating and confident stage presence, and her infectious passion for music. Vanessa has toured the continental United States, Hawaii, China, and will be on a twenty-one city, five-week tour of Turkey in the fall. Vanessa has headlined festivals, played live on top radio shows (KKCR radio), and performed live on China’s equivalent of MTV. Vanessa has also been featured on Zhejiang TV during her travels in China, and featured in Alaska Airlines Magazine for her performance at the Red Clay Jazz Festival in Kauai, Hawaii.
Vanessa has played alongside many notable artists including Annie Lennox, Willie Nelson, Kathy Mattea, Patrice Rushen, John “JR” Robinson, Chris Vadala (Chuck Mangione), Dave Smith (Beach Boys), Siedah Garrett (Michael Jackson), Patti Austin, and Marcos Valle. Vanessa is currently touring with Grammy Award-winning artist, Joe Louis Walker, who was recently inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame.
