About
Vile formed in 1996 in the San Francisco Bay Area. They were inspired by bands such as Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, Atheist, Monstrosity and many other Floridian and American death metal bands. They have always offered a professional and well thought out style with a certain groove that makes their music very catchy while still retaining progressive elements. Over the years they have become more musical and melodic with their latest offerings being a mix of American death metal and the best of European black metal. Their fourth album "Metamorphosis" was released in 2011 and their first tour in support was in September 2012 in Europe. Vile then toured California in April 2013 and Japan in December 2013. More tours to follow. See the many videos and links on their Facebook home page.
