Vomit Fist is a metal band comprised of Nick Vürdoth Didkovsky (gtr), Leo Lurkrot Didkovsky (drums) and Malcolm Wazakwa Hoyt aka Skrag the Screecher (vocals). Vomit Fist began as a father/son duo and expanded to a trio, performing in New York recently at the NYX II festival. They recorded their first EP at Spin Studios in 2013
Guitarist Nick Didkovsky is probably best known for his bands Doctor Nerve and Haessliche Luftmasken, his work with the Fred Frith Guitar Quartet, and as co-inventor of Java Music Specification Language.
In 2013 Nick and his son Leo founded the blackened grindcore duo Vomit Fist, premiering four tunes at Spectrum's NYX Festival. They soon added Malcolm Hoyt on vocals and became a trio, performing at Dither Guitar Quartet's annual ExtragaGANZA, on WFMU's Minor Music, and ABC No Rio Hardcore Matinee.
They will release their first EP "Forgive but Avenge" in early 2014.
