Wayside began as a fun musical project between four good friends. It has since evolved into a big, loud, energetic rock music machine. In Boston in November 2009, Sam Scott joined hometown friends Matt Dolloff, Steve Pierce and Justin Spirko along with close college friend and roommate Mike Levine to form the band's blend of classic and modern rock influences. Wayside have toured local Boston clubs since August of 2010, playing prominent small-scale venues such as the Middle East and the Cavern Club at the Hard Rock Cafe.
