He won the 2017 MTV EMA Best Japan Act and has appeared on high-profile international collaborations; after adopting his birth name in 2024 his single "Team Tomodachi" went viral and he was featured on Megan Thee Stallion's 2024 track "Mamushi," performing with her at the 2024 MTV VMAs.
