New York Festival of Song: First-Name Basis

From Beethovens Adelaide to Faurés Lydia to Noël Cowards Nina, our playlist is composed of songs whose titles are the given names of a colorful cast of characters, ranging from Biblical times (Belsazar) and Greek myths (Ganymede) to the Beatles London (Michelle) and Randy Newmans America (Marie). Featuring soprano Christine Taylor Price, mezzo-soprano Megan Moore, baritone Samuel Kidd, and NYFOSs own Steven Blier and Bénédicte Jourdois as pianists and hosts.

2026-27 subscriptions go on sale in July.
