Lecture: "The Psychology of Psychopathy"

Speaker: Dr. Pascal Wallisch

Join us for a gripping evening exploring the chilling yet fascinating world of psychopathy. Clinical Professor Pascal Wallisch will guide us through how psychopathy shows up in cognition, emotion, and social behavior, and what brain science reveals about this condition.

We’ll look at developmental pathways, cultural differences in how psychopathy manifests and is perceived, and what current research suggests about assessment, risk, and real-world implications. Whether you’re curious about true crime, mental health, or how the brain shapes behavior, this talk will challenge your assumptions and deepen your understanding.

Dr. Pascal Wallisch is Clinical Professor of Data Science, Psychology, and Neuroscience at NYU Arts & Science and the most decorated educator at NYU. He has received a distinguished teaching award, two Golden Dozen awards, a TeachTech award, and five teaching innovation awards.
