High Line Halloween: Gnome-topia

Sat, Oct 24 | 11 am - 2 pm The High Line

About

Welcome to Gnome-topia: Step into a magical world where the High Line’s plants are larger than life, and the whole family can channel their inner garden gnome through themed games and activities. Kids can play our Toad-In-The-Hole game or join the Red Hat – Green Hat relay race to win candy prizes. Spruce up your costume at the “Gnome – Ready – With – Me” costume station. See the world from a mushroom’s point of view, guided by our event emcee drag artist. This immersive cardboard world is brought to you through the artistry of Yung Oh Le Page and the High Line teaching artists. There will be games, face painting, a live DJ set, and of course plenty of candy. This program has fun activities for families with kids ages 6 – 10, the program welcomes everyone who is gnome at heart.
