About
Richard Atkins presents a solo piano program in which melody serves as a form of visual narrative. Spanning a wide-ranging repertoire from Chopin to Gershwin, the performance draws inspiration from cinematic fare and delves into Atkins’ own story-driven compositions. His original works emphasize atmosphere and imagery, translating diverse musical influences into vivid, wordless narratives.
A portion of net proceeds benefits Education Through Music (ETM), supporting music programs in under-resourced New York City schools.
