When an ominous letter and an otherworldly friend show up one day, Déan is confronted by memories and faces from his past that he can no longer shut out with a locked front door. Deán must grapple with the fear- and the hope- of finally leaving the lighthouse and taking his life into his own hands, and confronting all that has been lost over the period of his isolation. This is a story about the pain of being alone, but even more, this is a story about the strength and difficulty of choosing community, even when it’s the harder choice.
