Each show features several hearty servings of comedy served up by The Bisque with special guest comedians and improv troupes. Wade, The Bisque is an improv troupe which produces quarterly comedy shows to raise money for abortion access. All ticket profits are donated to The Brigid Alliance, an organization which directly supports people who need to travel for an abortion. To date, The Bisque has raised almost $2,000 for The Brigid Alliance, approximately the amount of money needed to provide one person with abortion services. There’s almost nothing she likes more these days than taking walks while listening to “That’s The Way It Is” by Celine Dion on repeat, and she’s okay with what that says about where she is in her life right now. She’s a French onion soup girl, which is to say she’s an anything-blanketed-in-melted-cheese girl. Deirdre Manning is a regular actor, improviser, and writer who performs regularly around NYC including with GOLD Comedy’s Digital Sketch team, No Worries If Not. He is also the Senior Producer at Fault Line Theatre, a company dedicated to developing and producing socially-relevant, new plays.
