An inclusive mic for all comedic formats and all comedic performers! Hosted by Blumpkin (Zachary Clark, Jacqueline Blizzard, Evie Barenberg, Luke Maynus, Charlie Berger, Journee Nia Brown, Vincent Biello, Macy Mcgrail, Dean Blizzard, Bini Yamin, Melia Hagino) BYOT (“Bring Your Own Thing”) is UCB’s open mic that welcomes everyone in the comedy community (that means you!) to “bring your own thing,” whatever that may be! Sketch, improv, stand-up, musical comedy, characters, meta-textual deconstructions or just screaming wildly at the audience – whatever you want! Continuing the legacy of the original BYOT (“Bring Your Own Team”) from the old UCBEast, every 2nd and 4th Sunday night at 9pm, Blumpkin will welcome all to strut their wild stuff for a welcoming and laughing audience. Go nuts – it’s a comedy laboratory! There WILL be open beakers of toxic & poisonous chemicals all over everything. RULES: – Signups will be available on this Google Form and on Instagram (@byotmic) on Sundays at 2pm. If you miss the signup, feel free to come through anyway and we will try to get you on! – Everyone will get 4 minutes, but improv teams get 5 minutes (wow).
