El Museo del Barrio is New York City’s Latino and Latin American art museum, founded in 1969 and located on Museum Mile at 1230 Fifth Avenue in East Harlem. The museum presents exhibitions, cultural celebrations such as the annual Three Kings Day, and programs in El Teatro, a historic 1921 theater noted for its monumental murals.
