About

Film Society of Lincoln Center—renamed Film at Lincoln Center in 2019—is the nonprofit behind the New York Film Festival and year-round art-house programming at the Walter Reade Theater and the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center along West 65th Street. Its main room, the Walter Reade Theater, seats 268 and is prized for pristine 35mm/70mm presentations, retrospectives, and filmmaker Q&As in a refined Upper West Side setting. Situated within the Lincoln Center campus, it’s steps from other premier performing arts venues and dining, drawing cinephiles and festival crowds.
