Lincoln Center Theater is a leading not-for-profit company on the Upper West Side, producing Broadway at the Vivian Beaumont Theater (1,080 seats) and Off-Broadway at the Mitzi E. Newhouse and Claire Tow (LCT3) theaters. Opened in 1965 in a modernist building designed by Eero Saarinen with Jo Mielziner, it anchors the Lincoln Center campus amid the restaurants and cultural venues of Lincoln Square.
