The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is a major performing arts complex in downtown Newark that opened in October 1997 and serves as home to the New Jersey Symphony. Anchored by the 2,868-seat Prudential Hall and the smaller Victoria Theater, it presents a wide mix of classical, jazz, dance, comedy and pop and has been a catalyst for the area around Military Park.
