Skyport Marina is a city-owned East River marina at East 23rd Street and the FDR Drive that serves as a central departure point for NYC yacht and party cruises, adjacent to Manhattan’s only seaplane terminal. The seaplane base opened in 1939, and the integrated Skyport facility—including the marina and a multi?level parking garage—was completed in 1962; today it anchors the Stuyvesant Cove/Kips Bay waterfront near Waterside Plaza.
