Starr Bar

Starr Bar is a nightlife venue in Bushwick, Brooklyn that celebrates and supports movements for social justice. We host parties, mixers, live music, art-shows, open-mics, karaoke nights, meetings, political discussions, fundraisers, film screenings and film shoots. We also work hand in glove with the Mayday Space to amplify movement-building programming, and 10% of bar profits goes to support Mayday Space. Starr Bar is a 2100 square foot event space, featuring a full bar, multiple seating areas, a large dance floor, a high-quality sound system, a HD projector with 12x7 ft screen, a full kitchen (food service coming soon), rotating art showcases on our walls, and the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet. We are located a mere ½ block from the Jefferson stop on the L train.
