SummerStage, a program of City Parks Foundation, is New York’s largest free outdoor performing arts festival. SummerStage annually presents more than 100 performances in Central Park and 17 parks throughout the five boroughs. With performances ranging from American pop, Latin, world music, dance and theater, SummerStage fills a vital niche in New York City’s summer arts festival landscape. Since its inception 33 years ago, more than six million people from New York City and around the world have enjoyed SummerStage. SummerStage is presented by Capital One.

No on-site parking inside Central Park; use nearby garages on the park’s perimeter (e.g., The Metropolitan Garage at 1000 Fifth Ave, One Lincoln Plaza at W 64th St, 9 W 57th St) or limited metered/street parking—allow extra time.

Enter the park at Fifth Ave & 69th–72nd St. Nearest subways: 68 St–Hunter College (6) on the East Side; 72 St (Q) on Second Ave; and 72 St (B, C) at Central Park West. Buses: M1/M2/M3/M4 along Fifth/Madison and the M72 crosstown to 72nd Street.
