Symphony Space is a multi-disciplinary performing arts center on the Upper West Side at Broadway and 95th Street, presenting concerts, film, dance, comedy, and literary programs. Founded in 1978 by Isaiah Sheffer and Allan Miller, it’s home to the long-running Selected Shorts series and presents events in its 715-seat Peter Jay Sharp Theatre and the smaller Leonard Nimoy Thalia. Set amid the neighborhood’s lively Broadway/Columbus corridor, it attracts both local and citywide audiences.
