The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts is NYPL’s research library at Lincoln Center, housing extensive collections in theater, dance, music, film, and recorded sound. Opened in 1965, it presents regular exhibitions, talks, screenings, and performances, many held in the Bruno Walter Auditorium.
