Samara Joy won the 2019 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition and released her self-titled debut in 2021 followed by Linger Awhile (2022). She won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 2023, signed to Verve Records, and has since performed at major festivals and venues worldwide while growing a large social-media following.
